AIER
The AAPL Institute for Education and Research
was founded in 2004 to
(a) engage in education and research
activities;
(b) stimulate and encourage important and
creative educational research programs in
forensic psychiatry;
(c) Train and encourage the trainings of
forensic psychiatry educators, researchers and
students;
(d) Provide educational resources and activities
for members; and
(e) Promote development of linkages and
synergies among forensic education and research
programs.
The Institute is supported by donation from the
individuals and institutions, including its
parent organization, the American Academy of
Psychiatry and The Law. Please see downloadable

Executive Office for more information.
Submissions are accepted March 1 for awards
beginning July 1 and August 1 for awards
beginning on January 1. Please see downloadable
Criteria for Grants on this page. Please mail a
hard copy of the submission (no emails or faxes)
to AAPL-AIER, P. O. Box 30, Bloomfield, CT
06002. For overnight delivery, use street
address: One Regency Drive. Receipt of your
submission will be confirmed.
